The Election Board

An Election Board is a group of Election Workers who are assigned to each precinct in Osceola County.  Election Board members who are selected to work during Early Voting and/or as phone bank operators will be paid hourly as these positions are longer in length.  The Election Board consists of the following positions:

Clerk

 $260.00 

Supervises the Election Board, picks up supplies prior to the election and returns them to a designated site on Election Night.
Voter Information Specialist

 $225.00

Processes the appropriate forms to update the record of an eligible voter, and communicates with the Supervisor of Elections office to resolve questions pertaining to a voter's eligibility to vote.
Technical Support / TSX Operator

 $220.00

Provides technical support to the polling location and assists voter's with disabilities with using the touch screen equipment.
EVID Operator

 $175.00

Using the EVID equipment, verifies the voter is eligible to vote in the precinct and provides voter with either a voting pass or refers the voter to the Voter Information Specialist.
Inspector

 $150.00

Issues Ballots to voters and provides instructions to voters for the proper completion of the ballot or may be stationed at the ballot box to instruct voters in the correct method of using the tabulation equipment.
Poll Deputy

 $150.00

Stationed outside the voting room on Election Day to maintain order at the polling place.
Phone Bank Operator

 Hourly

Trained to assist Election Workers and research voter eligibility using computer terminals at the Supervisor of Elections office.
Alternate

 TBD

Additional Election Workers who are hired and trained for the specific purpose of being ready to work on an as-needed basis.
